Sometimes we like to build something where nothing is there at all. This home had no backyard to speak of, so we drilled into bedrock and installed 500 feet of caissons and added a new outdoor dining room, main flagstone patio, covered outdoor retreat with big screen TV and a fireplace, pool deck, infinity pool and spa with a 15 foot waterfall. Careful — it’s a big drop over the edge of the pool.
